I am so fond of keeping all accessories simple. Of course, you can go to TJ Maxx or Marshals and score inexpensive gloves, scarves, and hats. I have always made trips to these discount stores to find my accessories because if you lose a glove to two or all of them, as I have, inexpensive is the way to go.
I have matured and can hold on to most of my accessories. I love cashmere and found the perfect scarf to complete my winter wardrobe. I purchased a long gray scarf with white trim from J McLaughlin, which will look great with my yellow Talbots coat. It will also pair perfectly with my ankle-length light blue coat from Zara.
I need an essential black pair of gloves. And, if I spot tan knit gloves with leather accents, I may be all in. If your outfit is very colorful, your gloves can add another element of color. I have a Burgundy pair of long gloves featured in one of my videos.
Hats? I found a charcoal gray hat at Zest in Richmond, Virginia. Zest can make your clothes closet rich with accessories for fall and winter. The hat I found was a great price point. The style is calm enough to wear with jeans or black dress pants. Just remember your bra, panties, shirt, and lipstick.
