What are the dresses that make your summer wardrobe fashionable?  Dresses made of linen or cotton are the most comfortable for hot summer days, especially here in humid Virginia. 

In the summer, we want to enhance our figures, not hide them.  There are so many ways to bring out your best feature.  You might have great legs or a small waist or toned arms. Perhaps you have feet that speak to another with beautifully painted nails. Keep in mind that showing off what feature you are most proud of makes you feel great. 

Long flowing dresses were popular last summer.  This year they still should be at the top of your list.  The blue and white full length dress is my find from Anthropologie.  The fit is comfortable, the cotton fabric is cool, and the pattern is lovely. 

Kick off your heels and carry them as an accessory. Feel the grass under your feet as your summer dress flows around your legs.  Get the party started…It’s a Barefoot Day!
