I have a crush on the best of summer drinks…the Orange Crush.  For years my friends ordered an orange crush every time we went to happy hour.  I ordered a mojito if I was having my one cocktail.  I felt the orange crush was overrated.  

I was wrong. I had a pity party the first time I sipped this refreshing concoction made with fresh-squeezed orange juice and vodka.  And, if the restaurant or bar has a large metal juicer on the bar…it is really fresh-squeezed juice.

Just when you think you have it all figured out, you now have more choices.  Last night, I had a Watermelon Crush made with watermelon, vodka, triple sec, and a splash of Sprite.  It was so refreshing and lightly sweet.

Off to the liquor store for me; I have to get a very small bottle of vodka.  I want to try to make watermelon crushes for my friends!  Ok, for me too…I love summer.
