I hope you are having an exercise reboot while at home. This isolation will not go on forever but it has gone on longer than most of us expected. I had no real exercise goals when I first crossed the threshold of my condo for the pandemic lockdown. I love to be outdoors so I knew it would be hard. I did have a previous experience I felt prepared me to get through this time. I was hospitalized for 7 weeks flat on my back when I went into early labor in 1997. I was in bed and couldn’t move. I can move in my home and I have a nice porch. The one thing I knew I wanted to have as a daily routine, stretching. I know many injuries come from not stretching out before or after exercising. It has made such a difference. It is vital as we age to add stretching into your daily routine. I use a chair as shown and I also use a yoga mat. I do my stretching while watching the evening news. Yes, I said the news. I like a challenge. (Just think, if you ever get pulled over by a cop, you can spread them. Cindy, I just wrote that for you.)
