Java Jacks Cafe was an excellent choice for a quick stop, and a delicious Croissant with applewood smoked bacon, scrambled eggs, and American cheese. I know that anything on a croissant takes better. I could have skipped the bacon to feel healthier, but when I entered the cafe, I smelled bacon. We all know that when we smell bacon…we order bacon.
Java Jacks Cafe is located in the town of Tappahannock, Va. If you remember, I visited after the fire that destroyed a large portion of their main street. I was determined to help support the store owners. I was lucky to spot Java Jacks, yet how could you not notice a pink building?

I entered through the door located at the back of the restaurant. It was a home at one time, and the dining rooms are the old porch and the living room. All the tables had vintage tablecloths and a beach vibe on the porch. The staff was friendly, and I had a delightful waitress who took my order immediately.
My breakfast sandwich was excellent and only $5.00. Java Jacks is a must-stop for any traveler because it is located right along Route 17. And it has a great lunch and an extensive coffee bar menu.
