Over the years, I have taken many pictures of flower boxes.  Philadelphia is one city with many hidden gems on side streets dotted with uniquely designed flower boxes.  Anyone who has looked for a parking space near Rittenhouse Square will find themselves on side streets in town. 

My friend and I went to Parc for dinner and found these boxes in front of three impressive townhouses.  I was driving but had to pull over for a closer look.  My friend loves plants and flowers and agreed these especially stood out.

I have to wonder if a designer was responsible for the unique combination of flowers and plants.  The townhouses with these beautiful displays were located right next to each other.  Perhaps each homeowner has a green thumb?  Whoever created the arrangements, they are lovely to look at and enjoy rain or shine.
