Living in Florida, has exposed me to many different species of flowers…most of which I am not familiar with at all. Some of the plants are out in the open and I can take a few leaves as I pass by. I take the leaves to the local garden center and I learn a new plant name. Others, like this gorgeous purple tree, are out of reach. The tree that holds these purple flowers was located behind a stucco wall. Do you know the species or the name of the flower? Please let me know! Looking up at this tree reminded me of the lilac bushes I had in my yard in Maine. Both purple flowers are a royal addition to any yard.
