I delight in a French Bistro. I have never been to France but I love French cuisine, Caesar Salad, and light Creme Brûlée. Can Can Brasserie in Richmond, Virginia has both on their menu and so much more.
Richmond is lucky to have Can Can because of its classic French cuisine and charming ambiance. To be in the restaurant’s atmosphere is so relaxing. My son and I love to sit at the bar and enjoy our lunch. We can look out the large street-side windows or have fun watching all the diners. And, Lance is a fantastic bartender.
We each have our favorites for lunch. My favorite is the Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken. The chicken is always moist and seasoned perfectly, the dressing is so flavorful and not overpowering. Grayson’s lunch choice is the Croque Monsieur, a hot ham and cheese sandwich done the French way with a Bechamel sauce.
During this visit, we met three young women with whom we bonded over the saying, “Day Drinkers”. These ladies were charming, articulate, beautiful, and laughed at my jokes. They ordered three Expresso Martini’s. Can Can has an extensive drink menu, a fabulous atmosphere, and delectable cuisine.
