Tacos are a year-round food, and The Boathouse serves the perfect taco for summer! The Boathouse restaurant in Virginia has four locations to meet your friends for great food and libations. The modern vibe of the restaurants starts before you walk in the door, and inside you’re greeted with an upscale and contemporary atmosphere. I was joined by my friends and fellow There Is No Normal partners Emma and Ashton for a Sunday brunch, complete with one of my favorite menu items aside from the Tacos, their crab dip.
Now about those tacos: I ordered the Dynamite Shrimp Tacos, filled with crispy fried shrimp, pineapple salsa, avocado, and cabbage, topped with dynamite sauce and a sprig of cilantro, served in soft flour tortillas. Yes, yes, and yes…what could have been better!? Every bite had the sweet flavor of pineapple, the spicy taste of dynamite sauce, and the freshest shrimp dipped in a light batter and then grilled perfectly.
What could be better than the best shrimp tacos in Virginia? What could be better than a water view while eating Dynamite Shrimp Tacos? Maybe the excellent service we received! The Boathouse is a seafood restaurant with so many choices. You will have difficulty choosing from the menu, but you can always follow my lead and order the tacos!
