Alexis - Seersucker tan and white stripe

Alexis

Seersucker tan and white striper

This is the best dress I have purchased to date.  It is also the most expensive dress I have ever purchased.  I bought the dress from L Boutique in Sarasota, Florida.  I knew it was a very unique find.  Not only was it a perfect fit, but I knew it would pack well and travel without extra care.  Was it worth it?  Yes!!  Alexis is a high-end clothing company run by a talented mother and daughter designer team.  Well done!

Tory Burch dress

Tory Burch

You know the name and the company’s reputation for excellence.

I now have experienced the dress for which I will equate the Tory Burch style.  The clever use of fabric gives this dress an outstanding look.  The fabric has the look and feel of a man’s shirt.  Even the colors are commonly used as a man’s shirt or tie.  But there is nothing common about the stripes cleverly running in a diagonal pattern.  Just look at the dress…it’s a work of art.

Target

What?  How can it be?  Designer dresses in Target?

Yes, I was buying my basics from Target and noticed a very pretty dress.  Lisa Marie Hernandez is the designer.  The black and white check dress was under $30.  And it has pockets!!  A huge hit with me and my friends…a dress with pockets.  It is lightweight and oh so comfortable.  A simple pair of sandals and off I go.  I googled Lisa Marie Hernandez and found more dresses at much higher prices.  I love Target for featuring this designer.

A New Day

Purple and Brown: Yes, it is an attractive combination when the right shades of color are combined.

Check out another one of my fashion finds, this incredibly sharp dress.  The fabric is soft and comfortable with lined sleeves and pockets!  The dress just simply flows as you move, and it was under $30!  Another Target hit and there are still some available in Target stores and online.  Hurry!  Throw on a big sweater with this dress and wear it into fall.  The company: A New Day.  Is this a great fashion line from Target?  YES!
