I found my dream dress in Westport, Connecticut. While in Westport, I strolled along the downtown shopping area. Ok, I like to sound like a lady of leisure, but I was stuck in Westport because the traffic was bumper to bumper on I-95. I rushed into every shop I could to take a quick peek. I was on the hunt for one unique dress that would be my go-to for fall and winter.

Brochu Walker is the designer whose shop I walked into and fell helplessly in awe. I like a dress shop that displays all the same pieces of clothing grouped. I feel it makes shopping easy. The Havana dress in all available colors was on one rack in front of me. I asked about my size, and they brought it out immediately. I am drawn to blue or black, but their shade of gray, Washed Slate, was lovely.

What could be more perfect for any age? A dress with a stand-up collar, puff sleeves that cover the upper arm, and a tapered waist and long tiered flowing fabric.

I love the quote, “Imitation is the highest form of flattery.”
Please feel free to be in The Havana Dress when I see you next. B
